The theme of this week is betting against teams coming off of massive emotional games. Last weekend we had two huge games in two of the biggest conferences. Those games had conference championship implications, as well as implications for these teams making it in the playoffs.
I love fading teams after these types of games the following week. It’s only human for kids to have a “let down” game after putting so much into a big matchup. So, without further ado, here are my picks ATS for the upcoming Saturday.
Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Florida Gators
Saturday, November 14, 2020 – 7:00 PM ET at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
Arkansas is a big underdog to Florida, who's coming off their largest victory all season. Not only were they able to finally defeat the kings of the east, but they destroyed them. Georgia went up in that game 14-0 off of 2 quick drives, and then the Bulldogs struggled to score again the rest of the game.
Florida took control, still in the first quarter, and never looked back. Arkansas, on the other hand, just keeps being underestimated and undervalued by seemingly everyone. They have played great in every game this year and even had a few games ripped from them by terrible luck and officiating.
I don’t think they have the talent to actually pull off the upset in this game, but I do think they will keep it close. Florida understands they just need to keep winning, and they will finally be back in the SEC Championship game. No style points necessary. Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Boston College Golden Eagles
Saturday, November 14, 2020 - 3:30 PM ET at Alumni Stadium
The Fighting Irish are coming off of their biggest win since 1993. It was a fantastic game that went into double overtime against one of the most talented teams in the country. Also, in that game, the Irish put up more points than they have all year.
I think their mentality heading to Boston College is the same as Florida’s. Just keep winning. There is also something personal in this game for Boston College. Phil Jurkovec is a QB transfer from Notre Dame. Playing his old team might give him a little more motivation, and he will need it.
That Notre Dame looks like the best defense in the country. I have bet on Notre Dame almost every week this season. I love this team, but I feel like this week is a good week to pick against them. It might be just too many points. I’m taking the Golden Eagles and the points at top-rated sportsbooks.

Indiana Hoosiers vs. Michigan State Spartans
Saturday, November 14, 2020 - 12:00 PM ET at Spartan Stadium
Indiana has been an incredible story so far this year. Starting the season off at 3-0 with wins over big-name programs like Michigan and Penn State has to have the Hoosiers feeling great and flying high. Like the other teams I’ve mentioned above, I feel this is the week everyone comes back down to earth a little.
Michigan State has looked terrible in 2 of these games, they turned the ball over 10 times in those two games. They might not be as bad as they’ve looked if they can keep from turning the ball over. Taking dogs is scary, and this college football pick is no different. Give me the Spartans and the points against the red hot Hoosiers.

His odds are higher than they should be after he missed the cut in two of his last three events. He returned to contention in his defense of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational and showed he’s fully recovered from a prior knee injury.

Tyrrell Hatton (+4500)
Hatton fell horribly flat in the WGC event in Memphis, Tennessee, but his odds have doubled despite the fact he’ll be competing against a nearly identical field. He ranks 10th in the Golfweek rankings and has two international wins and three other top 10s in six events since Nov. 10.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational champ entered last week ranked first in Strokes Gained: Putting, second in SG: Approach and fifth in SG: Tee-to-Green.

Scott, ranked 24th in the world, hasn’t played since missing the cut in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the PGA Tour season was suspended. He closed his 2019 schedule with a win at the European Tour’s Australian PGA Championship, and opened his 2020 season with a victory at The Genesis Invitational.
His odds are inflated due to his lack of recent play. The former Masters champ finished inside the top 10 of the PGA Championship the last two years and has 19 career top 10s in majors.
Brendon Todd (+8000)
Todd continues to be disrespected by the oddsmakers in these stronger fields after winning the Bermuda Championship and Mayakoba Golf Classic in the fall. He showed at the WGC event at TPC Southwind he can contend against the world’s best.
2020 PGA Championship Betting Picks – Long shots
Matt Wallace (+15000)
Wallace ranks just 109th in the Golfweek rankings, but the four-time European Tour winner is 41st by the Official World Golf Ranking. He was T-4 in a tough field amid major-like conditions at the Memorial Tournament, and he tied for third at the 2019 PGA Championship.
Mackenzie Hughes (+20000)
Hughes will play the PGA Championship for the first time since 2017. He used a hot putter to tie for third at the Travelers Championship and sixth at the Memorial since the Tour’s restart. The Canadian has just one PGA Tour win but ranks 77th in the OWGR.
He’s well worth a shot in hopes of turning a $10 bet into a $2,000 profit.
